The Third Amendment
Title: The three quarters amendment
Original Text: No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.
What it means: In colonial times, colonists were forced to provide housing and food for British soldiers. The fourth amendment prevents this from happening in America. It prevents the military from forcing citizens to quarter soldiers.
