Judicial Review
Judicial Review gives the federal courts the power to review government acts and nullify them if they are considered unconstitutional. The federal courts are given the power to change laws and acts passed by the congress if the courts find the acts do not follow what is stated in the Constitution. This is a very important way of limiting the government power. If the government tries to pass unconstitutional laws, the courts can stop them. This protects the rights of the people in America and limits the power of the government.
